occasionally i'll find a show or whatever that interests or amuses me so much that i obsess over it, even get depressed over it. i dunno what you could call it? a problem, i guess.

so currently i have a mild, crippling obsession with the cartoon series Wayside, and with the children's books it was based upon. i don't really know why this time. i guess it's really cute? and genuinely funny? it has this innocent and quirky charm that makes me keep watching, and now i can't wait until season one comes out on DVD. it's sortof embarrassing, really, that i like it so much. it makes me sad that i guess it's being discontinued and hasn't been aired on Nick for a while. i really hate discovering something i enjoy too late!

i hope they air the show on Nick again before it all ends. i'm sure my obsession will wear off soon, it always does.

toons come and go so fast these days its hard to keep up, although some of the most god awful ones seem to stick around and good ones get the can o3o. The few shows of Wayside I caught were fuggin adorable though, nearly dead on to the books.

Think the last book was, "Wayside School is Falling Down, falling down, falling down" or something lol
